Your skin is the largest organ in your body, so it's important to determine your skin type. The most important thing in taking care of your skin is understanding your skin and how it adapts to situations (seasons, hormones…). Everyone's skin is unique, but there are common skin types and conditions. It is very useful to determine which skin type your own skin suits best, so that you can choose products that better suit your skin. 
HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SKIN TYPE
- WASH YOUR FACE - with a gentle cleanser
- DRY WITH A SOFT TOWEL
- LEAVE YOUR FACE ALONE - do not apply any products yet and wait for 30 minutes
- EXAMINE YOUR SKIN & DETERMINE HOW IT FEELS
- NORMAL : the skin feels smooth. No signs of dehydration, the T-zone feels and looks balanced.
- DRY : the skin feels tight, may even feel irritated. It may have dry and flaky patches.
- FAT : the skin is shiny on the T-zone and on the cheeks. It feels greasy and you can suffer from pimples, large pores and blackheads.
- COMBINED : oily T-zone, but the rest of the skin feels normal / dry
In addition to your skin type, your skin may also have skin conditions or special concerns (these are not the same as skin type). These may be temporary.
- SENSITIVE: very reactive to various products, often feels dry.
- AGING: wrinkles, uneven skin tone, lack of elasticity.
- ACNE: blackheads, pustules, cysts - painful to touch.
- DEHYDRATED: may look dull, skin absorbs moisturizers very quickly. Liquid foundation can look uneven.
- HYPERPIGMENTATION
- COUPEROSE: permanent redness. Burning, tingling sensation.
Now that you know more about your skin, it's easier to find the right skincare routine. Here we help you a little bit. But keep in mind that your skin can change over time, and not all products will work. It is often by trial and error.
